The jam’s theme was “Collaborate With AI”.

It was my 5th Game Jam. This time we were again accompanied by Alice_sqr. After the good experiences from the last jam, we worked with the PICO-8 engine again.
We agreed on a puzzle game in which you programme different robots with directions so that the robot “Roby” can reach the goal.

Our game reached the 100th place out of 1016 in the rating.
In the “Visuals” category, we scored way above average with 63rd place.

The jam’s theme was “Roll the Dice”.

It was our 4th Game Jam. We dared to create a 3D game for the first time. For the first time, we no longer used the Unity Engine. Saturn91 was able to convince me of PICO-8, a very compact fantasy console. This pixel engine has various strong limitations such as strict memory restrictions. In my opinion, this promotes creativity and brings forth a whole new kind of games with a special nostalgic charm.

After the brainstorming we agreed on a competitive dice game. After we had to discard many ideas, it became a small dice game in which you play against 5 opponents in a row. The aim of the game is to reduce the opponent’s energy bar to 0 by rolling high numbers and combinations.

Our game reached the 960th place out of 6133 in the rating.

Our submission: “A dicy boss fight”. Play it here

It was our third Game Jam. This time we were accompanied by Alice_sqr. We dared to create a 3D game for the first time. After the brainstorming we agreed on a tower defense game. We also wanted to incorporate the pun “stronger to get her” somehow.

In the end it turned out to be a very unusual and somewhat disturbing 3D tower defense game, in which you protect your spleen from viruses. You have to distribute white blood cells in your body and adjust them to match the receptors of the viruses.

Our game reached the 641st place out of 1885 in the rating.
In the “Innovation” category, we scored above average with 367th place.
